Watercolour Workshop   “Light & Shadow”

Explore the fundamentals of light and shadow, including their interaction with various surfaces and forms. Learn how to observe and interpret light sources to create realistic and dynamic compositions.

Techniques for Capturing Light:

Discover a range of watercolour techniques tailored to capturing the subtle nuances of light, from soft washes to intricate layering. Experiment with different brush strokes, wet-on-wet, and wet-on-dry applications to achieve luminous effects.

Materials you need: 

A selection of watercolour brushes, various sizes.

An A4 or A3  300gsm/weight Watercolour pad.

A good collection of quality watercolour paints.
