Palette Knife Painting Workshop:
This workshop is fully tuition, and suitable for both those with little practical skills as well as the more experienced.
You will be able to create your own palette knife painting, using your own example painting as your starting point having the opportunity to explore paint application – use different impasto techniques including appropriate materials to creating texture, perspective and tone work. You will learn how to keep your paint fresh and vibrant, develop and focus on colour perceptive. Enabling you to move forward to create a contemporary dramatic painting.
Workshop Outline :
Step by Step we will work through the application to create colour perspective and paint application. giving you the opportunity to apply your palette knife techniques with more confident. We will then add finer brush work together with strong / bold texture paint affects.
Materials you will need to bring:
A good selection of Acrylic paints – double amount of white.
A selection of bristle brushes (round & flat)
Flat board or palette for mixing.
A3 Canvas
A selection of soft pencils – erasers and ruler.
A few palette knives.
